Well, it has been 3 weeks since my mom left. Somehow we are surviving. (Hanging by a thread really.) We sure appreciate all that she did for us. She ended up staying for 6 weeks because Gavin had some complications at birth that took a little while to resolve. I can tell you that it is not only Emily, Brian, and me that miss her. My laundry and dishes sure miss her too.

That is so nice that your mom came for so long. I bet that was a HUGE help! Let me know if you need a meal, etc... That's what friends are for.
